Akiko Sae-ngow Endo｜Founder
Born in Udon Thani, Thailand, and raised in Japan,
Akiko Sae-ngow Endo developed her aesthetic sensibility through the influence of two cultures.
Her career in beauty was shaped in Japan, where she absorbed not only advanced hair techniques, but also the philosophy of craftsmanship and omotenashi — thoughtful hospitality rooted in care and intention.
To further refine her skills, Akiko studied haircutting at Vidal Sassoon in London, and continued developing advanced cutting and coloring techniques in Japan.
Her background spans salon work, competitions, hair shows, and academy education, giving her a balance of creativity, structure, and teaching experience.
Through years of practice and education, Akiko expanded the 12-Season Personal Color Theory, using it as a design tool to enhance individuality while harmonizing with modern trends.
With this vision, she founded AKIENDO —
not as a trend-driven salon, but as a place where beauty is designed through understanding.
